Smash Bros. introduces collectible art stickers
August 15, 2007
uper Smash Bros. Brawl is shaping up to have an impressive range of characters, and a cast of that size starts at the drawing board. Nintendo has now announced through the game's official website that the art behind these characters, along with other types of artwork, will be unlockable in sticker form as players progress through the game.
Stickers are said to be much easier to obtain than trophies, and you can flip through an album to see the ones you've collected. You can then use the stickers to decorate various things in the game for fun, or even put together some simple comics with them.
Unfortunately there is no way of turning these in-game stickers into paper ones for a personal collection, but for a company that doesn't seem to see value in publishing art books for its games, it's nice to see Nintendo offer art in at least some form.
