lorida-based attorney Jack Thompson, infamous for his crusade against violent video games, has issued a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission regarding the showing of ads for "Rockstar Game's Mature-rated, incredibly violent BioShock" during a television airing of WWE SmackDown! wrestling. Excerpts from the opening statement of his letter include:

"Take-Two... is aggressively marketing its newest Mature-rated video game to kids under 17 years of age... On this Friday night's 8 PM Eastern time airing of WWE's wrestling program "Smackdown," there were repeated ads for Take-Two / Rockstar Game’s Mature-rated, incredibly violent BioShock..."

It appears good ol' Jack knows jack all about Bioshock. Had he taken the time to read up on the game instead of rushing for a pen and paper, he would have noticed it is the work of 2K Games, not Rockstar.
Jack also seems to like playing favorites, seeing as he'll write a complaint over less than a minute of animated violence in a commercial while ignoring 85 minutes of real people beating each other over the head in SmackDown! Ahhh, got to love attorneys.
