ooks like Square has finally finished draining the pockets of Japanese gamers. The company's online store is now open to North America, and it's stocked full with exclusive merchandise offering just about everything short of a lock of Sephiroth's hair. Shoppers will find items ranging from an easy ten bucks price tag to others that will run you half a paycheck.
The store currently holds collectibles for Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts and Valkyrie Profile, and offers such items as jewelry, figures, keychains, plush toys, and straps. In other words, just what you would expect from a Square Enix collectibles store. The minimum amount for an order has to exceed $23 for it to be processed.
While the showcase is quite impressive, I can't imagine anyone shelling out $200 for a polystone Cloud sculpture. I could grab several RPG's for that price worth hundreds of hours of entertainment. How long can a sculpture keep your attention?
