oday marks the start of a 3-day exhibition that Square Enix is holding to celebrate the company's largest cash cow. The event, titled Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Gallery, is being held in the Tokyo Spiral Gardens. FFVII fans living in the area are in luck, as the gallery is open to the public. Those who are less fortunate are left to drool over these pictures, courtesy of IT Media.

The gallery entrance is rather hard to miss, and a step inside welcomes you with walls of original artwork, large character posters, rich game history, and plenty of fancy merchandise.
An exhibition wouldn't be complete without a thorough look at Final Fantasy VII's early concept on paper. A lot of original work never released to print is on display. Also unique is the display of conte, or storyboards, used to illustrate the game's summoning sequences and cinematics for the developers.
In the center of the gallery show floor, a miniature model of the city of Midgar holds attention. A life-size replica of Cloud's Buster Sword can also be found on display, in addition to some very cool collectible tin cans adorned with FFVII character artwork.
