Wii Zapper to ship with Zelda training game
September 10, 2007
rain Training? That's the past. The future is Zelda Training. Nintendo has announced not only a release date for its Wii Zapper, but a bundled software title to ship with it. Carrying the name of Link's Crossbow Training, the game puts you in a Twilight Princess world setting where Link must perfect his marksmanship skills through a series of varied tests that progressively become more challenging.
The Wii Zapper and Link's Crossbow Training will be offered in one package for the price of $20 USD, and is set to appear on store shelves on November 19th. Link is said to start off on easy stationary targets before advancing to moving targets, and eventually, various types of enemies.
So what else does the future hold besides Zelda spin-offs? A number of third-party developers already have plans for the light gun-inspired hardware, including EA with Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Sega with Ghost Squad, and Capcom with Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.
