Pre-order Mario Galaxy and get a collector's coin

 intendo is quite the advocate for pre-order bonuses, they must be moving units. Only a week ago we mentioned the free quill stylus for Phantom Hourglass, and now news is out on a similar deal for Super Mario Galaxy. The big N is tempting gamers to put down some coinage on a pre-order for the game by offering a fake coin in return. But not just any old fake coin, this is a silvery Mario Coin!
Having the plump mascot's iconic image on your limited-edition coin has got to at least double the value of the plastic! But monetary values aside, you can't complain about a free coin. It just goes to show Nintendo really is made of money these days.
The offer is good through November 11th, and those who act in the allotted time will receive their Mario Coin alongside their reserved copy of the game when it launches on November 12th. Unfortunately there was no information in Nintendo's annoucement about whether collecting 100 of these trinkets will give you a 1-UP.
