How to use gourds for a Pac-Man Halloween

one any Halloween decorating this year? With less than a week left, time is short, but there's a quick project that anyone can do using simple gourds from your local farmers' market or grocery store. Why am I talking about this on CU? Because these are video game-themed Pac-Man gourds! And what better Halloween match than a Pac-Man ghost. And a cute one at that.
Gourds come in a wide variety of different shapes and colors, and with a little looking you can find some perfectly suited for your own Pac-Man and ghost. Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories describes the next step in turning them into cute tabletop display items.

"Gourds like these have a hard shell, about 3 mm thick, that is rather hard to cut through. We used a loose drill bit (turned by hand) to make the initial cut. From there, a regular hobby knife (e.g., x-acto) works well. Once the soft flesh and seeds are scooped out, the hard shell can dry to make a semi-permanent display."
