NPD November US video game console sales

he monthly NPD video game sales data was released today, and November holds high numbers and a few surprises. Total sales for the game industry are showing a 50% improvement for the month, with hardware, software and peripheral numbers all trumping those of last year's. The DS comes out the clear winner in hardware, with a massive 1.53 million units sold. As if that's not shocking enough, the feat was accomplished without a single title in the top 10 software.
